Carlson Tackle Company was purchased by RDLM, LLC. owners of Erie Dearie Lure, Inc. on July 11, 2003. Dan Galbincea III, President and Rick Kovacs, Vice President of RDLM, LLC. Both are avid fishermen, when they can get out.
Dan Galbincea III is the son of the late Captain Dan Galbincea that invented the first weight forward spinner design called the "Erie Dearie". Dan owns a 27' Tiara "Beagle" (Erie Dearie's current laboratory), docked at Midway Marina on the western end of Lake Erie. He is also the Vice President of Erie Dearie Lure, Inc.
Richard Kovacs has been apart of the fishing industry since his teens, when he started his own business, Hog Hunter Manufacturing. Hog Hunter merged with Erie Dearie in January of 2001 and became the Director of Sales.
